Planning our trip trip to Canada – Vancouver island in particular, we got lots inspiration and suggestions from our friend Josh, who originally is here from Victoria . Actually he pretty much is the reason we even know of Victoria in the first place. So yesterday we visited one of the places he suggested.
Fol Epi is a organic bakery located on 398 Harbor rd in Victoria. A nice walk from downtown. Their small shop is very charming and simple.
But their pastries in the other hand are spectacular! At least the ones we tried and everyone else arround us sure seamed to enjoy theirs too. Uhm… Was a common sound to hear, since we decided to eat our macaroons on location
With some amazing coffe and chai the.
Fol Epi shares space with Coffee Fantastico, one of the oldest third wave coffee shops in Victoria.
We found that very convenient, since the weather was quite nice and there were coffee tables outside to sit at.
And with nature right at our feet – literally, who could do anything but enjoy the moment.
Even the view was quite unique.
Being at a bakery we decided to bring home some bread to, we chose one of their lighter breads with a little bit of rye. We made sandwiches with it today and it tasted really good.
So thank you Josh for recommending Fol Epi and Victoria to us, we LOVE it!
